Private Patrol Operators
Private Patrol Operators are regulated and licensed by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS), a state agency within the Department of Consumer Affairs. Licensing requirements include 2,000 hours experience as a patrol or watchperson, security guard, or the equivalent.

A Private Patrol Operator operates a business that protects persons or property or prevents theft.
